Descripción: Both the media and the conclusions drawn by many researches show a complex social problem, which is very difficult to solve: the violent and impulsive youth lack of values.
Studies carried out conclude that family, considered as the first place of the character’s socialization, is the first responsible group for improving this problem. However, other groups, such as teachers, the police, etc. are being the ones responsible for educating, because of several social, cultural and economic reasons.
The result of this way of proceeding ends up developing social exclusion problems, since young people with such features fail on a social and formative level.
On the other hand, experts who face this type of problems have not received training in this subject in their professional curricula. Our project tries to create a multimedia tool, addressed to them, which contains the specific training on the current family operation: new ways of family, cultural aspects that take part in the family vital cycle, etc., performance protocol and support material as well, in order to work with parents who have children between the ages of 0 and 14 years old.
The aim of this tool would be the following: to increase the knowledge of the family operation on the first stages of the family vital cycle and provide support material in order to work with them.
The target profile: primary education teachers, parents associations, nurses, paediatrician, general practitioners, technicians for local social services…, in other words, any expert who works directly or indirectly with families.
